I've been thinking about getting a tattoo for a long time. My problem is I get hung up on what to get. I have ideas, oooh do I have ideas, what I need is some serious muster to just say "it's this one!" and go get it done. That and I could stand to tone up a bit before I get inked on my saggy parts. This guy is amazing though. His desire for tattooing and love of zombie movies makes for one amazing tattoo. Even more remarkable is the detail that went into the tattoo. Any of you have tats? I'd love to see them. Especially if they're more than just the standard 1/4" heart. I'm constantly surprised by who does and doesn't have a tattoo. I work with a guy who seems all business more often than not, and he has several tattoos. And then I'm friends with a few people you would expect have full back pieces, but have no desire to ever get inked.

I was talking with my sister the other day. No, wait, back that up a bit. I was talking with her a few months ago and she was expressing her desire to get a simple scrollwork tattoo on the back of her extending over her palm. Pretty interesting idea, except the whole "it'll fade fast" bit. But definitely something one's thought about. She encountered grief from plenty of people in my family and was shocked that they wouldn't be as open minded as she had thought. Fast forward to just a week ago, I was talking to this same sister, and her two daughters. One of her daughters said she wanted to get a tattoo when she's older. True, the kid's only 7, she probably hasn't given it the deepest thought. What surprised me was the reaction my sister gave. "NO! You're not allowed to ever get a tattoo!" That's not verbatim, but close enough.

So, what should I get, and what do you have?
